SPORTS
The ATC offers a wide variety of sports from  playing at the Squadron on a parade night or weekend up to representing the ATC against the other cadet corps in England. If you have an area that you specialise in then there is no better place to show it off.
Nearly every weekend in one way or another there is the opportunity to take part in various sporting events. At 450 we are lucky to have some very good sports people who often represent our Sqn, Wing and Region, and return with medals, awards, certificates and even trophies.
Sporting activities in the ATC is a fantastic way to meet new people and to make new friends as well as keeping fit. You are never forced to do any sports that you do not like or do not want to do however you would always be encouraged to try new things.

The ATC has had some excellent athletes in the past who have gone on to become famous and even set world records. Such as Rory Underwood (played for England and British Lions) and Linford Christie one of Britain's best athletes.

Each year, Surrey Wing hold a 'Wing sports day'. This is always a fantastic day where cadets get to show their strengths and sportsmanship and win awards. There are over ten types of events that are held throughout the day and if you successfully win your event then you will go forward to represent Surrey Wing against the rest of the wings in London and south east region and then maybe even go further to a national competition.
